Illustrated are - spires, longcase clocks, chalices, candlesticks, desk set, drawings by Pugin for his classical book on Gothic architecture, Parian groups, glass items, ceramic plates, cups + saucers, teapot, hand vases, chandelier, Hardman original watercolor and ink designs; furniture - tables, chairs, stools, bookcases, settles, cabinets, mirrors, entre otras!

OK, so I always liked these medieval style goodies, especially the later really overdone Rococo heavy stuff. Many of the items have Hardman and/or Pugin as the designer/maker. A real delight to see -- and have, if you are lucky enough! They would certainly fit in with my monastic life-style!

For well over 20 years I have been adding these extremely well illustrated, frequently monographic auction catalogues as reference sources to my personal library, and was always absolutely thrilled to find something dealing with my eclectic interests. As with many of the books in my research library, I frequently, when possible, obtained duplicate copies, as I like to have one to use and another as a back-up. They are really a UNIQUE source for hard-to-find data and for use as identification guides, usually containing information about the size, media, dates, styles, signatures, estimated values, and often data on the artist or maker. Older catalogues are usually extremely difficult to find!
