Playhings from the foundation's extensive collection of 19th and 20th Century toys are made available to museums, galleries, and other related organizations. The Collection illustrates various aspects of the historical progress of civilization, with an emphasis on post Industrial Revolution development in the United States. Toys are ideally suited for this purpose as they reflect scientific, educational, geographic and social advances.
