This OUT OF PRINT catalogue lists and describes 500 Lots, ALL of which appear to be illustrated, of mouth watering Jewelry - Just Before Christmas ! For the person who has everything and still wants more! [the greedy twits!]

The items include - you name it and it's in here! - rings, bracelets, ear studs and clips, necklaces and chokers, bangles and pendants, brooches, compacts, cuff links, tie bars, money clips, shirt studs - and MORE!

Makers include - those in the header and Chanel, Gage, Hammerman Bros., Kieselstein-Cord, Nardi, Schlumberger, Webb, Winston, Disney, among MANY others!

Each maker is listed in the 6 pages of Biographies, adding to the wealth of useful information contained in this tome.

Page after page of 500 sparkling lots of exquisite jewelry at a before-Christmas sale - HEY, I would have been thrilled with just one or two of these baubles!

They even had the sale in morning and afternoon sessions - probably so that the big spenders could check their bank balances via their Lap Top to make sure they could bid on more goodies -- while having a bologna sandwich and a small Caesar salad with fresh truffles, and a .75L bottle of white Zinfandel to wash it down, at Tavern On The Green - while their chauffeur had barely enough $$ for a Happy Meal at McDs! What -- you say - me, jealous? Hell, NO! I just never wished for even more than enough to pay bills, or anything better than my li'l Festiva, and you know what they always say - be careful about what you don't wish for -- they are soooooo right!

Index [of artists/makers], extensive Biographies, Colorless Diamond Index, Diamonds, The 4 C'2 [cut, colour, clarity, carat], Ring Size Conversion Chart [American - French/Japanese - English - Metric, inches/cm].

For well over 20 years I have been adding these extremely well illustrated, frequently monographic auction catalogues as reference sources to my personal library, and was always absolutely thrilled to find something dealing with my eclectic interests. As with many of the books in my research library, I frequently, when possible, obtained duplicate copies, as I like to have one to use and another as a back-up. They are really a UNIQUE source for hard-to-find data and for use as identification guides, usually containing information about the size, media, dates, styles, signatures, estimated values, and often data on the artist or maker. Older catalogues on specialized subjects are usually extremely difficult to find because knowledgeable collectors had already acquired them as invaluable reference sources when they first appeared!
