When you want to trade, buy or sell a Beanie online you SHOULD check out the other person's references.
Perhaps one of the best ways to do this is to look for the trader on one of the GOOD TRADERS or FEEDBACK lists.
Although nothing is infallible, these lists do provide an indication of the individual's ratings from other traders, buyers and/or sellers. They may have 500 positives and 6 negatives, but the bad ones can be due to any number of reasons. It's the general average that matters.
Do they provide what they say they will, in a more or less timely manner? Are the critters packed well, or just stuffed in one of those padded envelopes?
Ask questions BEFORE you start a deal -- and make sure that you save ALL your emails and related stuff, just in case something does go wrong. A couple years ago I traded up a storm, and had, happily, only a couple of deadbeats out of many hundreds of trades and buys.
And GOOD LUCK! It's kewl fun to help others complete their collections -- and receive the ones you have been looking for!
